Terms and conditions of use, order & purchase

1. TERMS

By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

 2. USE LICENSE

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Homebox Pte Ltd web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  1. modify or copy the materials;
  2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Homebox.sg web site;
  4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Homebox Pte Ltd at any time. 3. DELIVERY CHARGES

Free delivery on qualifying orders more than S$400 is only applicable to purchases that are made in a single invoice, to a single address in one trip, unless otherwise stated. Order below S$400 a delivery charge of $25 will be applied. Free delivery on qualifying orders is only applicable within Singapore mainland.

In the event that a single order has to be split into various delivery dates/locations/timings due to special requests and/or selection of delivery dates within the stated delivery lead-time period, additional logistics charges will apply at the discretion of Homebox Pte Ltd, or at the discretion of any of our affiliated sellers and fulfilment agents that will be delivering your order.

There are no installation charges, unless otherwise stated.

Additional delivery charges may be incurred at the discretion of Homebox Pte Ltd should the deliveries be chosen to occur outside of our normal delivery hours.

In the event that the goods cannot be delivered on your preferred delivery date and/or time-slot due to reasons such as lack of stock from suppliers or scheduling difficulties, you will be notified the soonest possible. Homebox Pte Ltd reserves the right to amend the delivery timings or to substitute the original item to a similar product of higher or equal value should such circumstances arise.

To qualify for free delivery, your delivery location must be accessible via elevator (i.e. on the same storey as lift landing) or must be on the same floor as the goods loading/unloading area. If the delivery crew is unable to deliver the furniture to your location via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into elevator, elevator unserviceable upon delivery crew's arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management etc) we will assess (at our own discretion) the feasibility of the furniture being carried up via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner. If the process is deemed hazardous and the delivery is deemed unfeasible, (e.g furniture or infrastructure prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway), Homebox Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel the delivery. Upon cancellation, a refund of any of your prior payments for that delivery will be made by cheque within two weeks from the initial delivery date.

4.DELIVERY DATES AND TIMING

The delivery time are open day slot. Our delivery time are 10am to 5pm on weekdays & 10am to 3pm on saturday. We do not deliver on sunday and public holidays.

It is required for customers to be present during the stipulated delivery time to avoid holding up the delivery team from their deliveries to other customers. We seek your understanding when it comes to delivery timings.

Homebox Pte Ltd reserves the right to change the delivery date and time should any unforeseen circumstances arise in the midst of delivery. While we endeavour to adhere to scheduled delivery timings and warrant to act within our means to notify you the soonest possible of any delays or difficulties, you acknowledge that you will, at no point in time, hold Homebox Pte Ltd liable for any inconvenience, losses, damages, injury, charges, expenses and/or deaths that may arise from any delayed, postponed, incomplete or unfulfilled deliveries, to the extent permitted by Law.

5. CHANGING OF DELIVERY DATES

Changes in delivery date should be made via email to sales@homebox.sg or call our office @ 6909 5838 at least 48 hours before the stipulated delivery timing. Please provide your order invoice number, which can be found in the confirmation email sent to you.

6. CHANGING OF ITEMS

Any changes to items in the order should be done via email to sales@homebox.sg or call our office @ 6909 5838 at least 48 hours before delivery. Please provide your order invoice number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you. Orders of customised items cannot be changed once they are confirmed.

7. ORDER CANCELLATION

Cancellation of order should be done via email to sales@homebox.sg or call our office @ 6909 5838 at least 48 hours before delivery. Please provide your order invoice number that can be found in the confirmation email sent to you. Cancellation is not allowed for customised items after confirmation of order.

8. DAMAGE POLICY

We advise our customers to inspect the purchases carefully for damages before accepting the purchases. Though rare, there is a possibility of manufacturing defects or even purchases being damaged during transportation. Should you detect any damage or defect e.g knocks, dent or cracks, inform us immediately at 6909 5838 or email to sales@homebox.sg. Once you accepted the purchases we do not accept any returning of purchases and offer any refunds. 

Homebox Pte Ltd reserves the right to void the warranty of a merchandise within its warranty period should the product be found to have been subjected to adverse conditions, not exclusively or limited to conditions such as bad weather, abuse, or placement of the merchandise in publicly accessible locations that causes the merchandise to be subjected to damage, intentional or otherwise.

9. RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

All products sold are not returnable except for the following:

  1. Delivered of wrong purchases/items
  2. Product that are not working 14 days from date of receiving of goods

All requesting of returnable product must be carry in to our office located at 226G Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 #01-671 Singapore 567226.

Request for returns should be made to us within fourteen (14) days from the delivery date for a 1 to 1 exchange.

Merchandise should be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition and with its original packaging fully intact. Homebox Pte Ltd has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.

All products sold are not refundable except for the following:

  1. Purchases out of stock

The full refund amount will exclude any delivery, assembly, delivery timing, delivery location and/or staircase delivery fees paid when the original order was made.

All branded merchandise that are faulty or defect are to due directly with merchandise company for warranty issue.

Returns are free for local orders only and are not applicable to products exported out of Singapore mainland.

All refunds for orders paid for via cash on delivery will be made in the form of bank transfer by Homebox Pte Ltd. Customers who have paid via credit card methods will be refunded via the original mode of payment. Refunds for payments made via Cash or NETS will be refunded via bank transfer Refunds for payments made via cash on delivery, NETS or credit card will be made within seven (7) working days.

Refund of payments made via PayPal will be in accordance to PayPal’s mode of refund.

10. Warranty

  • FSL lighting product sold comes with 2 years carry in warranty for residential usage. (Excluding Light bulb)
  • FSL lighting product sold comes with 1 years carry in warranty for commercial usage.
  • Other lighting product comes with 1 year carry in warranty for residential and commercial usage.
  • All branded merchandise product warranty will follow branded merchandise warranty term & conditions.
  • All other accessories does not comes with any warranty.
  • Proof of purchase must be present for carry in warranty claim.
  • All products send in for warranty claim must be in good condition & accepted by Homebox Pte Ltd representative's.
  • Homebox Pte Ltd reserved the rights to reject any carry in warranty product claim if it does not qualify.

Warranty does not cover the warranty:

  • Normal wear & tear, corrosion, rusting or stain and faulty installation mishandling.
  • Damage arising due to act of god, accident, misuse or untrained personal.
  • LED driver (power supply), LED strip, remote control, all lighting accessories, non lighting & non electrical appliances.

11. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

The product details & product picture appearing on Homebox.sg web site are been provided by supplier. All products finishes, specification, colour, measurement may vary time to time. Homebox.sg does not warrant that any of the product details & product picture appearing on Homebox.sg web site are accurate, complete, or current.

Homebox Pte Ltd may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. Homebox.sg does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, SOFTWARE AND CONTENT

The intellectual property rights of all software and content made available to you on or through this Website remains the property of Homebox Pte Ltd. and its licensors and are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved by Homebox Pte Ltd and its licensors.

Homebox Pte Ltd does not claim to own the rights to the images, trademarks and intellectual property of our licensors and the respective third-parties that are featured on this Website. All rights of these images, trademarks and intellectual property belong to their respective owners and not to FortyTwo Pte. Ltd.

You are permitted to store, print and display the content supplied purely for your personal use. You may not publish, manipulate, distribute or reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on this Website, nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise.
